Film scoring has long been a profound passion of mine - a way of engaging with film beyond the visible, through emotion, memory, and perception. I compose music that inhabits the inner life of a film, working closely with filmmakers to shape the emotional and psychological core of each story. I idealise my scores not simply as an addition, but as part of the film’s narrative language.

My work often explores fragility, tension and transformation, building sonic worlds that expand the film’s emotional and perceptual space.

After completing the post-graduate program at the Film Scoring Academy of Europe as a grantee, I began collaborating with international filmmakers, including award-winning directors Gonçalo Almeida, Guilherme Daniel, Bruno Carnide and Rui Sá Macedo.

Atom & Void (dir. Gonçalo Almeida) received the J-WAVE Sound of Cinema Award at the 2025 Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia in Japan and the Méliès d'Argent award and was screened at Fantastic Fest (USA), Sitges (Spain) and Fantasmagoria Medellín (Colombia).

My score for Canto (dir. Guilherme Daniel) won “Best Original Music” at the Planos Film Festival. I was also a finalist in Oticons 2023 (Top 20) and the Berlin International Film Scoring Competition 2023, and received an honorable mention in the European Recording Orchestra's “Call for Scores” 2022.

Thriller/ Horror

Thriller and horror has always been a personal favourite of mine! Developing a thread that enhances the drama, taking the audience from A to B in a tense and visceral way is something that really excites me. Here are some of my cues where you will find traditional instruments blended with electronics, synths and eerie sound effects.
