Rui challenged me to compose a score that reflects the story’s timeless quality. Beginning with a more classical approach, the music slowly unfolds into a hybrid sound world as the narrative itself moves across time. A central motif anchors this journey, transforming through different textures and instrumental colours — a true challenge for any composer.
