I had a great time talking with CoffeePaste about the new album “Of Fragility and Impermanence”. Great questions which took me on a trip to discuss what’s behind my latest project.

I'm thrilled to share that "Atom & Void", directed by Gonçalo Almeida and featuring an original score composed by me, has been nominated for the 2025 Sophia Awards — one of the most prestigious film honors in Portugal.

The winners will be announced on April 27. I'm truly grateful to have contributed to this powerful film and to see it receive such recognition.

At the end of 2024, my friend Tiago Fernandes invited me to compose the music for Metamorfoses. I said yes without hesitation, even though I knew nothing about the project. And I’m so glad I did! With text by Bárbara Rosa, direction by Tiago Fernandes, and choreography by Catarina Clode Casqueiro, Metamorfoses became one of the highlights of the year. The play dives deep into anxiety and irregular humanities, offering a thoughtful reflection on the vital topic of mental health.

Creating music for such a relevant theme was an incredible challenge. It was even more special to work with a fantastic team and contribute to Theater and Dance, two art forms I truly admire. I’m deeply grateful for this experience, for working with Tiago, and for meeting Bárbara, Catarina, and the entire cast and crew at Teatro Amélia Rey Colaço. Creativity, respect, and attention to detail defined the whole process.

Creating this score was a profound, inspiring, and deeply rewarding experience, and I couldn’t be more honored to work alongside Gonçalo and the incredible talent that brought it to life. I’m thrilled to share with you that I just finished the music for “Abrogation” by the American director and actor Franklin Livingston. This is the first feature film that I was honoured to score for and I’m happy that I did it because the story touches some very important and relevant issues in today’s American society. I hope to share more news about it soon!
